About

Pueblo Science invites you to take part in the pilot Techno Fair in the Philippines! The event will help 50 grade 7 to 12 students identify science projects based on community problems, design a solution and present the project to a panel of experts. Teachers are encouraged to attend with a group of their students  to learn how to lead the discussion on problem identification and solution designs so that they can run this program within their own schools.

Techno includes a workshop on how to use electronic sensors and effective presentations delivered by experts. Mentor scientists and engineers will be available to provide input to all teams. Participants are not required to use the electronic sensors for their project.

Techno Fair is a hybrid event held both in-person (for participants in Palawan) and online. The event will span a week in January and is a great opportunity for students, teachers and mentors to become leaders, builders, and innovators, network, and enjoy lunch/snacks while making a meaningful contribution to their community.

Schedule
